Stagecoach are introducing a new timetable with effect from February 14th, 2010. The effect is to halve the number of buses along the A10 during the day, but it isn’t as bad as it seems.

 The X9 (which is the service that remains) will now provide an hourly service through Milton, Landbeach and Waterbeach up to Ely and March. For those who caught their buses in Waterbeach or Landbeach this is effectively no change, and the bus will now stop at the Waggon and Horses in Milton. What has changed is that there will be no buses that go directly along the A10 on the other half-hour.

We local Councillors have little control over Stagecoach’s operations since they are a commmercial company who have to make a profit. However, they can be sensitive to local views, so please let me know (or contact Stagecoach direct) if you have any comments.
